Our rules are for your protection and safety
- Stay within 50 yards of the shoreline.
- Swim in a lifeguard supervised area.
- Obey lifeguard instructions.
- No vehicles.
- No animals are allowed.
- Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.
- Hard boards such as surf, skim, stand-up, etc., are only permitted on the north side of the International Pier and south of Tower #5.
- All surfboards and bodyboards must be used with a leash to prevent injury to others.
- Ballgames, frisbees, and paddle balls are only permitted in the designated recreational areas.
- Do not feed wildlife, including birds.
- No littering.
- Glass containers are strictly prohibited.
- No standing on the rocks.
- Jet skis, windsurfing, kiteboarding, and launching of boats and kayaks are prohibited from all areas of the public beach unless specifically authorized by the City Commission.
- No swimming in the surfing area.
- Snorkeling and scuba diving is permitted with the use of a dive flag.
- Landscape materials are meant to beautify the beach and protect its environmental integrity. Please do not affix any items (beach chairs, bicycles, hammocks) to plants or trees along our beach.
- Smoking within the boundaries of any municipal/public beach or public park within the city is prohibited to the fullest extent permitted under state law. Any person violating this section shall be fined in an amount not exceeding $100.00.
