The City of Deerfield Beach has nine sand volleyball courts available on a first-come-first-serve basis and is free for the public to use. The courts are located north of the pier in the recreation area. Games are played to a total score of 21 points. The winning team will remain on the court to play the challenging team. The City has hosted the Olympic Sand Volleyball Trials. Throughout the summer, amateur and semi-professional tournaments are held.
